Support Worker / Care Assistant – Bournemouth, Christchurch & Poole Bright London Care Limited is recruiting compassionate, reliable and committed Support Workers and Care Assistants to provide high-quality care and support to people across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole. This is a rewarding opportunity to support people to live safely, independently and with dignity in their own homes. No previous care experience is required. Full training will be provided to successful applicants. Pay and Hours * £13.50 per hour – weekdays * £14.50 per hour – weekends * Full-time and part-time positions available * Flexible working opportunities * Stable shifts with predictable hours where available * Mileage is compensated * Paid travel where applicable Applicant Requirements Applicants should: * Be 18 or over and have the right to work in the UK * Be caring, reliable, punctual and able to communicate effectively * Be willing to complete required training, references and DBS checks * Be able to travel reliably between care visits * Be available for agreed shifts, including some mornings, evenings and weekends A full UK driving licence, access to a vehicle, previous care experience, or a Health and Social Care qualification would be advantageous but are not essential. Questions carers ask us

Do I need experience to become a carer?

No — we hire for heart and train for skill. Healthcare assistant roles are open to people new to care; you'll complete paid induction training (manual handling, first aid, infection control and more) and shadow an experienced carer before working alone.

What is a DBS check and do I need one?

An enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check is a criminal record check required for all care roles in England. We arrange it as part of your onboarding. A conviction is not an automatic bar — each case is considered individually.

What documents do I need to apply?

Passport, proof of your National Insurance number, a passport photo, two proofs of address from the last 3 months, details of two references, and a driving licence and right-to-work documents if applicable. You upload them all during the online application.

Can I choose my hours?

Yes — full-time, part-time, mornings, evenings or weekends. Tell us your availability in the application and we build a rota around it.

Where will I work?

Wherever suits you — we support clients in every London borough and in selected parts of Essex, and we cluster your visits near where you live so less of your day is spent travelling. We are also recruiting for our Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole service.
